Review: Khaleja

Khaleja, Prince Mahesh Babu's Movie hit the screens after a long gap. Finally, the wait is over for fans and movie lovers as the movie released today all over world. Expectations on the movie skyrocketed because of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas combination. The duo earlier delivered a super hit movie ‘Athadu’ almost 5 years back.

Story: ‘Pali’, a small village in North Andhra with a population of about 550 looks for ‘Devudu’ to help them and stop the deaths of the villagers. Village head (Rao Ramesh) sends Siddha( Shafiq) to search for a man who is 28 years old, born in ‘Pushyami Nakshatram’. Now we know for whom he is searching.

Raju (Mahesh Babu) a taxi driver in Hyderabad bumps in to Subhashini(Anushka), daughter of Durga Prasad ( Tanikella), a rich sugarcane producer in AP. GK (Prakash Raj) wants his son (Amith) to marry Subhashini to get benefit in the business.

Oneday Raju witnesses a gruesome murder of Dr. Paranjith a Geologist and his accompany Dilawar Singh. Raju taxi owner Dharmavarapu Subramaniam manages to get Rs 5 lak insurance money for Dilawar Singh and asks Raju to give to the parents of Dilawar Singh, a Rajasthan resident. GK (Prakash Raj) people follow Raju and try to kill him in Rajasthan. Our hero is victorious in the fight only after suffering life threatening wounds.

Who saves him? Siddha identifies ‘Devudu’ in Raju and take him to ‘Pali’. Why ‘Pali’ people see god in Raju? Does Raju really possesses powers like God? Why GK people trying to kill Raju? Will he save the village people from dying? Lot of questions, but one answer. Go and watch the movie.

Mahesh Babu action is highlight. There is nothing much in the first half. Real story starts just beofre the interval. Second half is good except speed breaking songs.

Overall, it is entertaining and definitely watchable movie.
